I am so impressed with your breeding standards and ethics. We just lost our 7 year old male to cardiomyopathy (so the vet thinks since we refused an autopsy). We were so blessed to have had these past 7 years and though my heart is broken right now I know we will have to have another. He was my heart. He was sweet and gentle and had to sleep with a stuffed animal in his mouth. He was our constant companion and stunningly beautiful. When the time is right and my heart is ready, maybe we will qualify for one of your pups. I will certainly have your site marked as a favorite as I would give all that i own to have had my baby for 10 years or more. And just so you know, he slept in bed between my husband and myself, I bought and SUv because he was afraid of riding in cars and he went to daycare twice a week. Where, by the way, everyone who worked at daycare was totally in love with him and as devasted as we to lose him. He was quite the ambassador to the true personality of a doberman. Thanks for listening.

Hi Deborah, Remember me, Teresa Hobson McCabe from N.Y. I was able to get your last dobe before you left Virginia. Well,Baruch turned out to be the most beautiful doberman he would be turning 10 May 1, but my beloved boy passed monday morning from blote . I don't have to tell you how my heart is broken. My first doberman I got from you as well,Bracken another magnificent dog. Both dogs were amazing never were they sick and both dogs hit 110 lbs easy. Smart is not the word for these two dogs and loyal to family amazing at times it was hard to think of them as dogs more like humans , no, better. I didn't know if you were still breeding but lo and behold here you are. I don't know if you would be willing to sell me another dobe , I know you are meticulous about the handling of your dobes as you should be. Now your in California and I'm still in N.Y. If,your not , I completely understand. would you know someone closer to me. I know there are recuses but your dogs are a breed among themselves. Is your daughter still involved with acting? and your web page is great, the dogs are so beautiful. Anyway, Its nice to know your still breeding those beautiful dobes. Teresa Hobson

Deborah - My husband and I found your website very informative and well put together. All your love and effort for putting together an informative website and love the Dobie shines through. Job well done! We are in the market for a doberman and have been for about two years now. My husband Anthony was raised with a Dobie named Rockie and we find the animal to be highly intelligent, loving and very loyal. All qualities we're looking forward in our first dog.

Hi Deborah! We have enjoyed viewing your website and all of the wonderful dobies. We just lost the second of our two (senior) dobies and are interested in purchasing a female puppy. I know that you have no puppies available at this time, but just in case . . . . .

Devenshire's Red Velvet Hammer voices his opinion.  He was 14" across his chest and weighed in at a trim 114 lbs. of pure muscle--no fat!  He was an exceptional dog with children, so very gentle.  Once a baby stuck their finger in his eye and he just sat there, never moved, until we noticed and removed the child's finger.  We were all in a panic, but Hammer simply reached over and licked the child's face!  His eye was fine--but no one could believe any animal would do that.  As gentle as he was with children, that is how fierce a protector he could be!
