All of my foundation dogs go back to the ELFRED dogs bred and handled by ELLEN HOFFMAN.  Ellen was my mentor and like Ellen I developed a love for "substantial" males.  Although "Pres" will not appear until the 7th generation back (but numerous times) you will notice a striking resemblance between "Pres" and Gable.

In fact, all of the dogs on this page go back to ELFRED'S THE PRESIDENT who was STAR's (DEVENSHIRE'S CARDINAL RULE) great-great grandsire;  however, one of her grandsire's is ELFRED'S KAI SIR V DEVENSHIRE.I bred to KAI SIR, PLAYBOY and ZARRAS at various times.  You will notice that the heads and necks are very distinct.
